International Committee of the Blue Shield, works to protect world cultural heritage threatened by natural and human-made disasters.

Museum Emergency Program (MEP), International Council of Museums’ (ICOM) strategic, multiyear project that aims to assist museum and other heritage professionals with the task of assessing, preparing for, and responding to natural and human-made threats. Teamwork for Integrated Emergency Management (TIEM), a collaborated training course run by Getty Conservation Institute (GCI), ICOM and ICCROM. It aims to make information and other resources on emergency preparedness and response more readily available to museums.
